Directional Blur effect
DIRECTIONAL BLUR Alight Motion just like this one okay so it's a pretty easy effect to create it's a simple intro but it looks very clean very professional so we can use this and multiple kind of projects and it looks very cool so let's get started and it'll be After Effects the first thing I want you to do is create a new composition we're going to name our composition clean intro or something and just try to name everything then the width and the height we're going to make it full HD so in 1920 by 1080 P square pixels 24 frames for me that depends on whatever you want and the duration of ten seconds then we are going to click OK and I'm going to toggle off the transparency it doesn't matter anyway and then I'm going to right click here new solid and I'm going to make it comps and change the color to a grayish blue dark core and click OK rename the solid to BG for background.
HOLDING SHIFT click OK so now we have our background already the next thing to do is go and click on this icon here and enable the title action safe then we're going to select our pen tool make sure nothing is selected in your layer so we just click away snotting is selected and then click with the pen tool over here on the corner like so and hold shift and click on the corner over here so now we have a straight line by holding shift and we're going to fill we're going to disable it by clicking on this button click OK and Stroke we are going to take yeah whatever color you want I'm going to use a gray M a yellowish core and I'll click OK with a width of 2 pixels right here so and then I'm going to click on my selection tool click away so nothing is selected toggle up and the the shape layer here transform and scale and that's what we are going to work with currently this scale is also the height and width together so it's combined here by this icon if you click on this we can change the width and separately from the height.
ANIMATION LIKE SOAPso we're going to change this to 0 right for now then we're going to add 1 second in our timeline click on the stopwatch for our scale so we have a keyframe appearing here and move to three seconds so we have two seconds interval and change it to like 50 or 60 let's see 60 looks all right so now we have the animation like soap so right now it's a linear animation which means that the animation speed is well equal at all times two changes we can select both keyframes right click keyframe assistant and easy ease what that will do is it will start off slowly go and ramp up with speed and slide a slowly die off and become that coming to a stop so let's see that in a preview so you can see it slow it's slowly at the beginning at and at the end and in the middle it's a little bit faster but right now the effect is social that you can barely see it so we're going to click on the graph icon here which will give us the opportunity to click on scale and see the graph of our speed and so right now we see that it's slowly going faster and then slow again.
MOTION GRAPHICS ARTISTS we're going to select these two keyframes here and pull them in like so and now you will see a bigger difference because right what I'm doing right now it's even slower at the beginning and even faster on the top and if you're going to end click on the graph editor so it's away double the way we're going to preview this again by playing this back and you will see immediately the big difference it starts I'm going to yeah this is a render region you can see it's going slowly fanned and faster and then slow again so very cool effect very clean effect and that's what we were looking for so that's great if you're looking to enhance your video you should check out roly-polies com it's a great website for visual effects artists motion graphics artists and filmmakers in general I use it myself and if you buy something from their website you can use a code tolerate it and you will get 10% off so be sure to check out our website they have lens flares egg defects packs also 3d models and stuff like that.
HOLD SHIFT so be sure to check out our website and let's go to the tutorial again so once you have done that we can start with the text we are going to use the text tool here click on your composition inside your composition and enter your name so my name tolerated cinematix well of my organization and with a text size of 60 and a letter width of 50 and then a all caps um I'm going to choose the big new title in here so this looks alright maybe I'll change it to 80 and place it in the center so with the selection tool you can and drag around your text but you can also do it right over here at the align window if you don't see that one you can go to window align and toggle this on and then you will see this button here then you can click on horizontal center alignment and vertical so if you click on both these keys it will Center it completely and then you can move it around holding shifts make sure you click on it first hold shift then and then drag it up like.
STRAIGHT LINE so and then you have a straight line so you don't pull it away from the center and now make sure it's not too far away from the from the line so we have like a spacing from the line and the text it's kind of equal like you can see over here so next thing to do is to duplicate our text and click on it hold shift again and drag it down and then we're going to click on the text tool here and change the tie the title to your slogan so whatever you want to say it so we're going to forward it presents we entered this one here then I'm going with a health hell vertical light so right over here I have one and I'm going to make it a tiny like so and it's just to make it smaller than your text also lighter like you can see and the text isn't as thick as this one here and so once we have our text here we are going to the selection tool again click on it hold shift also move it up and make sure this basement is kind of the same like in your letters like so and that makes it look very professional and very lined out.
KEYFRAMES ANIMATION so and now we can see our title like so the next thing to do is go to two seconds or so click on your text on your flow rated cinematics text and then presents with the shift key press B on the keyboard to reveal the properties for position and we're going to click on the position a stopwatch here so like so now we get two keyframes over here so we're going to select them by just dragging over them and then moving them to like four seconds and then over here we're going to click on one of the titles so you can choose with which one you want we are going to reverse the placement so this one I'm going to move it over here and the other one I'm going to move over there so now we have this animation next thing we want to do is also select these keyframes right-click and also enable the keyframe assistance to easy ease and enable the graph editor again like so click on one of these and click on the boat keyframes and also drag them in like so click on the next one and do the same thing here so it ramps up and comes to a stop in there we go so pretty cool already the next thing you want to do is um also.
PRESENT TEXTclick on one of the texts go to layer precompose and we're going to name this title and click on the other text layer precompose and we're going to name the slogan also make sure you have move all attributes selected here and click OK so now we have this here then again we can click on one of our tight add titles here so I'm going to click on the title here and I'm going to solo it for now or whatever I'm not going to do that I'm going to select my rectangle tool here while ho-ass having my title selected I'm going to drag over it like so and make sure your end is at the lines at the beginning of the line or so there we go if we zoom in should be like at the exact beginning of the lines you are going to select this using the selection tool here zoom in hold spacebar to move around in your window here and drag it down like so so now we have this mast already and what that does is it's going to hide it under the mask but it's going to show it in the mask so the line comes text comes and voila there we go so now we have to do the same thing for the presents and we are already done actually.
ZOOM ULTRA QUALITY so I'm going to zoom in enough reveal the presents here and now if we see this we have our line coming popping and showing the text so I'll preview this for a second pretty cool right and so we're going to drag this out a little bit longer and now the only thing that rests is to do is a toggle everything down at first click on the shape layer toggle this down and click on I will select both keyframes here go to edit copy or control C and paste them like after one second paste them again control V and then right click keyframe assistant time reverse the keyframes so that's going to reverse it and it's going to make the line go away and then we have to do the same thing for the text so we are going to enter each composition click on text press U on the keyboard and yeah copy paste right click keyframe assistant time reverse clean intro open this one up also click on the text you on the keyboard to reveal the effects copy paste right-click title and keyframe assistant and time reverse layer and so if we are going to preview this now we're going to get an effect that it comes on the screen and then when it disappears on the screen.
