PRO LENS FLARE
we have our flare I'm going to click on my shield footage copy this to ctrl C go into my pro lens flare and paste it in here put it on on the bottom right here right click and make this as a guide layer and that's just not going to render it out any composition that we have it like as a reference then we go to the control settings and I'm going to put my flare around right here actually on this one okay zoom in let's see how I want it do I want it very big or do I want it actually rather small so let's see what I can do it it may be something like something like 30 and of course we can animate it but I'm not going to animate it for.
FREE BRIGHTNESS
now just see a change of position right here all right and select the flare for a second so it's actually in the right spot okay the free brightness I'm going to set it a little bit bigger right here randomize it just a little bit all right so somewhere around here I can like this one so we have our flair change a little bit of these settings until I get the result that I actually wanted and then we are going back to my main composition and we should have this flare in there like so you really get in I hope we can actually put the footage below or displacement so it's actually in the right spot it's also going to be displaced so that's going to make it look a little bit better as well and then apart from that you can add some particles to it so you can go new and add a new solid particles and search for cc particle world and apply this to that footage from particles and go into the grid right here and just uncheck the grid.
DIRECTIONAL VELOCITY
we're going to also position this on the same spot of my wand here and for the physics I'm going to add a little bit more velocity so I'm going to just solo this for now let's see what we have so of course falling down and way too big so we want them to the explosives go into the particle setup changes to it fade its sphere I'm also going to make them a lot smaller somewhere around here okay and gravity I barely want any gravity to 0.5 well actually 0.05 so I want to change the explosive to Direction access and that's going to make them to the right open up the direction access and maybe move them and actually for the gravity I'm just going to lower this so it goes up and it's going to like help the shield to generate that I'm going to make it look like so and just spawn a lot more of these particles like so also toggle switches and make this motion blur and apply the motion blur for decomposition.
BLUR AND SHARPEN CC
so we got something more like this and then we're also going to change the color to white for now and I'm going to apply a CC vector blur so go to blur and sharpen CC vector blur and also increase this right here and now we get like a nice magic kind of look we can also go into the producer and maybe lower the radius especially actually on the Y so you get something more like this maybe also pretty XR actually okay and let's see also go to effect and apply a regular Gaussian blur and just put this on top of your cc-vector blur right here and let's see just to smooth everything out of it okay so now we have a nice kind of magic look to it and if we're going to end check this one out if we're going to end follow this we have our particles right here and we can reposition them a little bit more to the bottom.
NICE BLUR
so position them right over here and then I'm going to apply an aside generate and add a fill to it change the color to a nice blue so we have our color over particles and make it a little bit more like white okay there we go so now we have our particles generating or shield okay cool so now you can play around with the let the animation maybe it's all going a little bit too fast I'm going back into the shield effects and the fractal field actually press U on the keyboard and go to the end of my offset I'm just going to delete this keyframe and just move it just to touch something like so then another thing that I've actually done is go to the shield effect and duplicate that effect and I just offset it the mask a little bit to it it's like a little bit thicker on the front so I'm going to double click on my mask and just move it like so and then you're going to get like more color on the front of your shield and it's going to look like it's actually closing it to increase the opacity here tonight .
SMOKE
we can actually thicken it over there so press F on the keyboard to lower death fatter for our shield and that's going to be a little bit more obvious okay can duplicate it more if you want to and now we're getting a real shield says something like so it looks pretty cool can actually lower this right over here so you get a little bit more detail as well okay we're looking good okay so now we have our shield one more thing that we could do is add a little bit of smoke so it's like really in the action what I do for that is just create a new solid layer and add a fractal noise again and go to effect noising rain fractal noise and then I will click on my evolution well actually any transform click on the office turbulence in the beginning of my timeline will go to the end of my timeline and actually move smoke towards me so it's actually sucking in a lot of smoke and let's see if it's going fast enough facilities for now ok.
INPUT PROFILE
so this can be a lot faster we can't hold shift to the drag this to the left again preview this a little bit more okay there we go so this should be fine and then I'll click on the evolution right here and right time times 400 now we have a fast animation maybe times 4,000 I could absolute it too much somewhere around 10,000 ok so now we have the animation we can increase our contrast a touch and lower the brightness here I'm also going to change do dynamic progressive and we have our smoke so I'm going to uncheck this for now you go to tunnel the switches and change this to a screen and as you can see we have a weird thing going on and that's because of the linear workflow that we're working on so I'm going to fill it is I'm actually search for tour profile converter and this is something that helps out sometimes when you're working with a linear workflow to apply this right here then just go to the input profile and select srgb and that's going to solve that problem and now if you are going to inject.
CAMERA AND SMOKE
we're going to have nice results so go back here maybe go into the transform is kill it up a little bit so we have closer to the camera and smoke and also play maybe with just a basic could be a little bit better and also decrease the complexity a little bit so we get more like thick smoke there we go we have our smoke of course you can lower the opacity by a lot something like so that's going to just add a little bit more animation to your scene so if you have any problems with any kind of effect in Alight Motion while working linearized you just use the color profile convertor and that might help out for your problem so a cool tip right there
GREEN SHAKE
I'm going to increase my opacity something like 10 and just re render this one more time alright this looks pretty cool of course or flare isn't animated and we can still play around with the animation of our shield and if you look at my feet is looking pretty weird there you can fix that just going to displacement and fixing this a little bit to go right here and maybe just point this up a little bit and then you won't have that displacement right here and just on my top body we're going to make it look a little bit better as well but apart from that you can also just select everything and precompose this and then we're going to well actually just do the effects comp and then we can apply something like The Wiggles preset that you can also get at the freebies page on our website if we apply this right here we can say like a slider frequency of 15 and a amplitude of 15 and then let's preview this and that's going to add a little bit of a wiggle to our scene so I'm just going to do it at very low quality so you get the ID and right here we get like a nice green shake and of course.
FULL RESOLUTION
you can lower this of course you can lower the amplitude and increase the frequency and get a better result that way but yeah definitely have a play with the wiggle and also maybe make or smoke a little bit bigger ricer so let's head in here press you on the key word as at this one here I'm not sure yet this is the smoke I'm going to increase my skill to something like 500 or even a thousand and then we get this nice smoke on top of everything and then to finish it off we can apply a let's search for apply color lip and then if you have let's you come by like right here these are our lips that you can buy on our website or you can use other lips but like right here I will use the d-separated action open that up and we have something like this and of course we can cut this actually and apply this to a new adjustment layer and just lower the opacity a little bit get something more like this because we're working in a linearized workspace and changes back to full resolution.
RGB SPLIT COLOUR GRADING
so we get a nice clean image like so there's a split out left with a left and below or less now we have something like this and below our lid I'm going to apply the core profile converter such as it as RGB now we get something like this which is going to fix our linearized workspace and then you can lower the opacity right here and get something like this the only thing that concerns me is the white background right here I don't really really like it it doesn't fit the scene so what it will do is open up my effects comp go and just right here we have our footage I'm going to create a new solid on top of my footage and click and create something like this color click OK and then I will pick my mask do my rectangle to zoom out create something like this right here press F on the keyboard and just fetter it very nicely like so and then just set this at multiply and you get something like this of course you can go and press key on the keyboard and lower this you go back to the main comp see how that fixes everything right there we can also click right here and maybe just select this part right here and just press F on keyboard subtract this and then just increase your mask right here.
EDGES
so you get something like this and if we are going to check is that we're going to have a little bit more brightness right here and of course don't lower the intensity over lip but that's going to make it look great apart from that you can create another adjustment layer and maybe apply a camera lens blur right here repeat the edge pixels so we don't have a glitch on the edges right here and I'm going to mask out the center right here subtractive press X on the keyboard increase this and now we get a nice focus right here and of course lower the radius is 0.5 and that way we're going to get a nice or focus right here so you can see the background is kind of out of focus and of course just shift this a little bit like position this right here so the distance actually gets in my shallow depth-of-field okay and then one more adjustment layer I'm going to apply anything yet and go to effects color correction curves lower D contrast right here double click on the ellipse to subtract it as well press F on the keyboard and increase the edges right here
BRIGHTNESS AND GLOW
now we get something like this I'm just going to offset my mask a little bit more towards this pot so our focus gets right here duplicate it once more and I'm going to press M on the keyboard and add it again and reset our curves and then I'm going to increase this right here so we have a little bit more brightness right here so we get something like this now lastly we can click on our effect comp and go for a glow and add our perfect glow that you can also down at our website and then we can get something like so and of course increase in this pile up the threshold and increase the radius without glow with glow lower this a little bit more you just wind out the glow and with the glow.
LINEAR WORKFLOW
so we can lower this just a little bit more maybe holding ctrl and okay just don't overdo it but in a linear workflow you can see that our intensity is actually zero if we click on it we have like 0 to 0-7 and it's still actually affecting our glow so we're going to check just deselect. our glow you can see that it's actually doing something so just keep your glow low and yes it's going to get some better results so right here we have our final shop and this is what we came from so right here we have our final shop and this is our original one so a big difference right here I hope you enjoyed this tutorial if you did give it a like and also subscribe to the channel for more thank you so much for watching and good bye .
