3D Flip Layer Transition
INTRODUCTION
hey guys in this video i'll show you how to calculate your montages in Alight Motion using a plug-in called magic bullet looks if you don't have this vlogging you can search on youtube how to download it and sorry about the voice i know i sound like a dead zombie because i'm having a sore throat anyways i have recorded the rest of the video when my voice was alright so let's get started so we're going to apply the color grading over this edit and if you want to check the tutorial of this video i've already uploaded that in my channel i'll provide the link in the description if you want to check it out now to apply the color grading.
HSL COLOUR
we have to create an adjustment layer in which we will add the effect and it will be applied to every layer which is below it so right click here in a blank space and create a new adjustment layer now in the effects and preset window you have to search for looks and add this effect to the layer make sure you have the magic bullets plug-in otherwise this effect will not come now after adding it you have to click on edit and by the way if you can't find any window which i'm using you can just go to windows and from here you can enable it now in the effects window you have to click on edit and you should get an interface like this here are the tools on the right side first we're going to add this effect called hsl
color.
LIGHT ROOM
now hide the tools using this effect you can change the hue saturation and lightness of any particular color and it is kind of similar to lightroom now here i'll decrease the saturation of every color other than orange yellow and blue because the theme of our video is orange and blue so from here you have to decrease the saturation now i'll decrease the hue of yellow so that it becomes orange so this is how it'll look after adding the first effect now let's add the second effect which is colorist i guess.
BRIGHT AREAS
now after adding this hide the tools and here you can see three wholes up here first we're going to add some orange color to the highlights so move this point which is at the center to the orange side and you can also adjust the brightness here now let's add some blue color to the shadows so move this point which is at the center to the blue side under shadow now we can also decrease the brightness a little bit okay so this looks good now let's add the second effect which is a simple s curve so first add the curve to the video now here you have to bring the highlights up this will make the bright areas more bright now bring the shadows down and it will make the dark areas more dark i think the highlights are too much bright.
NEW ADJUST LAYER
so let me bring that down now i also like to bring the end point up these are the black portions of the video and if you bring it up they will become gray it gives a good cinematic feel so this is looking good now let's add the next effect which is a simple vignette effect you can find it under lens if you don't know what this effect does it adds shadows around the video and you don't have to do anything much here just adjust the brightness and also adjust the area where you want to add the effect i like to make it a little big now we are done with the magic bullets plugin hit the tick button and here you go here you have the color grading now if you want to add glow you can create another new adjustment layer and if you don't want to add any glow you can skip this step.
GLOW COLOUR
now search for glow and under stylize you'll find this add this to the layer you don't need any plugin for this now the glue is too much intense so you have to decrease the intensity but first you have to spread this so by increasing the radius you can increase the area of the glow now let's decrease the intensity and by changing the threshold you can actually choose in how much area the glow will come right now the glue is picking its color from the background so we want to give it our own colors.
THRESHOLD AND RADIUS
so here select color a and b now from here you can choose which color you want i will keep the color one orange and the color b will be white now let me just adjust the threshold and radius one more time [Music] i think this is looking fine and you can also do one more thing you can cut the adjustment layer in the transitions.so that you can adjust the glow of every clip like here the glue is too intense so here you can crop the adjustment layer and reduce the glow of this clip only now you can just save the video and export it and that is all for this video thanks for watching see you guys in the next video .
LOGO COMPOSITION
I'm going to rename well actually I don't need to rename this composition it says logos so that's okay we'll go back to my main composition and just add my logo to my yeah my layer right sure I can duplicate it immediately and just uncheck one of these and I can combine this with the parent tool to one of this so as I move this around the other one is also going to be in the same exact up that's why I'm doing this of course I'm going to Center it for now and I will make it smaller like so so it's nicely in composite 70 ok something like this click on the logo go to effects generate gradient ramp right here.
LIGHT GRAY COLOR
it'll set this at a nice a light gray color and this at a dark grey color so we get something like so then I will go to effects perspective and I will add battle alpha right here we get this nice 3d look all set is that two and this one as maybe a little bit lower and just change the core to something warmer like so or actually maybe go for blue tones and maybe increase the thickness a little bit more to something like four more like so and maybe increase the intensity a little bit more so we can see the result itself this is looking better of course you can manipulate the light angle is but I think this looks fine looking cool I will also go back to my color right here I maybe add a little bit of core in the blue channel right here so we get a little bit more life to our scene this might be a little bit too much but let's see what you can do with it think the top blue is actually a little bit need to sign.
ANIMATING
so more towards these colors okay so this is looking better now I will go and search for light sleep so search online sweep see see lights we even apply this to the logo and now we get this nice like light going on here we can change a color as well maybe make it a little bit more Orange click OK and change the intensity right here and the width can play around with these two maybe I will changes to more a blue core like so and now we can actually animate business is going to like be a battle that's coming over our logo so I will put this right here and click on the stopwatch for the center and then like at 150 I will move this to the other side so now it's actually animating actually at the beginning it can already be in frame a little bit so it's going to animate itself over time like.
