How to make Outro Like After Effect in Alight Motion tutorial
INTRODUCTION
Hey guys so after a long time i'm uploading a video about Alight Motion and in this video i'm going to show you how to make this text effect which you can use in your thumbnails banners and anywhere you want i've already made a beginner's guide for Alight Motion you can check that out if you're a beginner you guys can also download the project file from the description here
NAME AND SOCIAL ICONS
You can just drag and drop the text into your project and edit it but to download it you have to skip some ads i'll also provide a video which will explain how to skip those ads and download it so all the links will be in the description now let's get started with the tutorial first create a new project in Alight Motion so click on file and then new and here you can select the resolution which is usually 1920 by 1080 for thumbnails

so this is our blank project now select the text tool and click on the canvas to add any text i'm just adding any random text for now i can't see me let me change the color of the text so that you can see what is happening after adding the text click on the tick button and if you want to move it you can use the move tool and to resize it you can press ctrl press t on your keyboard now let me make few copy of this layer so that we can add different styles you can select the layer and press ctrl j to duplicate it.
IMPORT NODE PROJECT
now right click on the text layer in which you want to add the effects and select blending options here enable gradient color the blend mode of the color will be normal now select the gradient color and select the first color this will be a purple color purple or violet i don't know you can copy the code of this color if you want now click ok and select the second color it will be a sky blue color i was actually trying few colors before recording that's why these colors are here now after adding those colors select okay the angle here will be 90 because we want a vertical gradient and you can also reverse the color from here.
BACKGROUND PROJECT
i'll just leave it like this where the blue color is at the top next we have to add stroke and the size will be around four to six and it depends on the size of your text now let me just change the background color so that you can better understand now right click on that layer and select blending options here select stroke and as i've already said the size will be around 4 to 6 the stroke will be inside the text and the blend mode will be normal change the fill color to gradient and make sure the angle is 90 now select the gradient color and select this color which is at the bottom it is black right now we have to change this to white.
GRADIENT OVERLAYS
so select the color and change it to white next select the color which is at the top now here you have to pick the blue color from the top of the text so you should get a white to blue gradient like this and one more thing if you cannot pick the color you have to save this layer style and open it again and then you can pick the color next we have to add one more gradient overlay so click on this plus icon which is at the right side and it will add one more gradient overlay here click on the gradient color and we have to make a stripe like this and it is very easy to make let me show you how select the first color and change it to white then click ok and click here to add one more color this will be also white and add one more and change the color of this to black now you have to bring this near to the previous one.
DUPLICATE PROJECT
so that it makes a line now add one more black and then again add a white then click ok and bring this near to the previous one so in this way you can make this black and white stripes and also you can save it so that you can easily use it later you can just click on this new to save it now click ok and here you have to change the angle i'll be keeping the angle around this much and now i'll also decrease the scale a bit next we have to change the blend mode to something like screen or lighten which will hide the black color and only keep the white color you can also move it and keep it at any position where you want next we have to decrease the opacity and it will give us a shining effect like this after saving the layer style select the layer and press ctrl j to duplicate this layer .
ANGLE AND POSITION
Select the layer which is at the bottom and select the move tool and move it to this direction it should look like a shadow now select that layer and clear the layer style which will remove all the effects and now right click but first let me move it a little more so it is more visible now now right click on that layer and open blending options and here you have to enable gradient overlay and instead of removing all these colors you can just select any basic color which is already there from these presets now change these colors to pink and blue also don't forget to change the blend mode to normal and the opacity will be 100 also you can play with the angle if you want and the scale.
CONCLUSION
So that is all for the first effect now you can change the colors and get different kind of effects from this this golden color also looks good you have to change the gradient color and the stroke color and that's all so that is all for this video thanks for watching see you guys in the next video.
