ALIGHT MOTION TEXT PRESET
Alight motion preset hey everyone welcome to another new video and also a very happy new year to all of you so this video is actually the second part of my previous video where i've showed how to add transitions and in this video i'm going to show you how i added the shakes so let's get started the shape which we are going to make in this video is quite a simple one and we only need two effects
AE INSPIRED TRANSITIONS ALIGHT MOTION
so let me give you a quick overview of the effects the first one is oscillate effect and you can see here this is the kind of motion you get from this effect by increasing the magnitude you can actually increase the distance you can also change the angle from here and frequency is how many times it will complete a movement in one second in simple words you can say that it is the speed so if you increase it the speed will increase the next effect is swing effect and it is what the name suggests it will give you a swing kind of animation here if you change one angle it will rotate in one direction and if you change the other angle to negative it'll rotate in two directions and that's pretty much it Alight Motion let's make the shake effect in edit motion
ALIGHT MOTION TRANSITIONS PRESETS
so this project is actually from my previous video so here we have an image in which we are going to add the effect let me remove this styles effect for Alight Motion and select add effects inside movement transform you can find oscillate effect add that to the layer here i'll change the angle to 90 because we want a vertical check Alight motion preset by default the frequency is 2 here so i'll add a keyframe of frequency 2 Alight Motion keep this keyframe at the beginning of the layer add one more keyframe and here decrease the frequency to 1 and keep this keyframe at the end of the layer
SOFT TRANSITIONS ALIGHT MOTION
so here the speed of oxidation will be faster at the beginning and then it will gradually get slower we also have to add a graph between these two keyframes but first let me add the keyframes of magnitude so i'll increase this to then add a keyframe and keep this keyframe at the end of the layer Alight Motion add one more keyframe and here you have to increase the magnitude i want a light check that's why i'm keeping this around 300 but if you want more bounce you can just increase this to around 500 or even more Alight Motion let's add a graph between these two keyframes and it will look something like this also at the same graph between the keyframes of frequencies.
SHAKE PRESETS ALIGHT MOTION
Alight motion preset Alight Motion i'll adjust the face because i want the layer to be at the center in the beginning and then at the center i want the layer to go up then in the end of the layer i want the layer to come down in this way i think i also have to adjust the graph Alight motion preset Download link Alight Motion let's add the other effect so click on add effects and we have to add swing effect which you can find inside move and transform here change both the angles to 15 one will be minus 15 and angle 2 will be plus Alight motion preset 15.
TRANSITION PRESET ALIGHT MOTION
Alight Motion add a keyframe of each angle and keep this keyframe at the beginning Alight Motion we have to change the angles to 6 this will be minus 6 and the other one will be positive 6. also there is no rule you can just add your own numbers here you don't have to copy the exact same numbers Alight Motion keep both these keyframes at the end of the layer where the angle is 6 and add the same kind of graph here Alight motion preset so this is how the shake will look Alight Motion let's add the keyframes of frequency

so in the beginning the frequency will be 2 and at the end the frequency will be 1 like the previous effect Alight motion preset here also add the same kind of graph Alight motion preset Alight Motion let's adjust the face so this is how you actually make these kind of simple shakes and i'll leave a preset link in the description because i have adjusted many more things in this shape i mean not too much but just little bit graphs and numbers so you can check that preset out if you want to see the exact number and graphs and all those things also you cannot just copy paste every effect into every project because the length of layers will be different in each project
HOW TO IMPORT XML FILE IN ALIGHT MOTION
hey guys so after a long time i'm uploading a video about Alight motion preset and in this video i'm going to show you how to make this text effect which you can use in your thumbnails banners and anywhere you want i've already made a beginner's guide for Alight motion preset you can check that out if you're a beginner you guys can also download the project file from the description here you can just drag and drop the text into your project and edit it but to download it you have to skip some ads i'll also provide a video which will explain how to skip those ads and download it
HOW TO USE PRESETS IN ALIGHT MOTION
so all the links will be in the description Alight Motion let's get started with the tutorial first create a new project in Alight motion preset so click on file and then new and here you can select the resolution which is usually 1920 by 1080 for thumbnails so this is our blank project Alight Motion select the text tool and click on the canvas to add any text i'm just adding any random text for Alight Motion i can't see me let me change the color of the text so that you can see what is happening after adding the text click on the tick button and if you want to move it you can use the move tool and to resize it you can press ctrl press t on your keyboard Alight Motion let me make few copy of this layer
HOW DO YOU USE EFFECTS IN ALIGHT MOTION?
so that we can add different styles you can select the layer and press ctrl j to duplicate it Alight Motion right click on the text layer in which you want to add the effects and select blending options here enable gradient color the blend mode of the color will be normal Alight Motion select the gradient color and select the first color this will be a purple color purple or violet i don't kAlight Motion you can copy the code of this color if you want Alight Motion click ok and select the second color it will be a sky blue color i was actually trying few colors before recording that's why these colors are here Alight Motion after adding those colors select okay
ALIGHT MOTION INTRO PRESETS
the angle here will be 90 because we want a vertical gradient and you can also reverse the color from here i'll just leave it like this where the blue color is at the top next we have to add stroke and the size will be around four to six and it depends on the size of your text Alight Motion let me just change the background color so that you can better understand Alight Motion right click on that layer and select blending options here select stroke and as i've already said the size will be around 4 to 6 the stroke will be inside the text and the blend mode will be normal change the fill color to gradient and make sure the angle is 90 Alight Motion select the gradient color and select this color
ALIGHT MOTION PRESET LINK
which is at the bottom it is black right Alight Motion we have to change this to white so select the color and change it to white next select the color which is at the top Alight Motion here you have to pick the blue color from the top of the text so you should get a white to blue gradient like this and one more thing if you cannot pick the color you have to save this layer style and open it again and then you can pick the color next we have to add one more gradient overlay
ALIGHT MOTION PRESETS FREE DOWNLOAD
so click on this plus icon which is at the right side and it will add one more gradient overlay here click on the gradient color and we have to make a stripe like this and it is very easy to make let me show you how select the first color and change it to white then click ok and click here to add one more color this will be also white and add one more and change the color of this to black Alight Motion you have to bring this near to the previous one so that it makes a line Alight Motion add one more black and then again add a white then click ok and bring this near to the previous one so in this way you can make this black and white stripes and also you can save it
ALIGHT MOTION AMV PRESETS
so that you can easily use it later you can just click on this new to save it Alight Motion click ok and here you have to change the angle i'll be keeping the angle around this much and Alight Motion i'll also decrease the scale a bit next we have to change the blend mode to something like screen or lighten which will hide the black color and only keep the white color you can also move it and keep it at any position where you want next we have to decrease the opacity and it will give us a shining effect like this after saving the layer style select the layer and press ctrl j to duplicate this layer and select the layer which is at the bottom and select the move tool and move it to this direction it should look like a shadow Alight Motion select that layer and clear the layer style which will remove all the effects and Alight Motion right click but first let me move it a little more
AMV ALIGHT MOTION
so it is more visible Alight Motion Alight Motion right click on that layer and open blending options and here you have to enable gradient overlay and instead of removing all these colors you can just select any basic color which is already there from these presets Alight Motion change these colors to pink and blue also don't forget to change the blend mode to normal and the opacity will be 100 also you can play with the angle if you want and the scale so that is all for the first effect Alight Motion you can change the colors and get different kind of effects from this this golden color also looks good you have to change the gradient color and the stroke color and that's all so that is all for this video thanks for watching see you guys in the next video

Open Alight motion preset and here create a new project after that, create a new composition and here you can give it any name you want. the resolution, which I'm using is 1080 pixels.

My frame rate is 30 and the duration is 15 seconds. You can change this according to your needs. Now let's import the music file. So you just have to drag and drop it into Alight motion preset. Now, double click on the music file to view it in a preview tab. from here, you can change the preview tabs. Now, let's set a starting point for the music, from where the music will start. and click on this icon. Now move the play head to the point where the music will end and click here. Now, drag and drop the music file into the timeline. And the highlighted area will be added.

So, first, change the frame, bending to pixel motion. And also enable time remapping, if you forget the shortcut you can just right click. And from here, you can enable it add a keyframe at the beginning, like we've done with the previous clip. Now, try to find where you are shooting the enemy and after hitting him, you have to add a keyframe here Alight Motion, move the keyframe to the first mark, and in the second mark, he is going to reload his gun. So find where he is loading the gun and add a keyframe, Alight Motion, move this keyframe to the second mark. In the next mark the video will end.
HOW TO SET KEY FRAME IN AFTER EFFECTS
So we have added all the four keyframes. Now, delete the extra part of the video and select all these keyframes and press F9. Now, go to the graph editor and here try to make the same graph which you have made earlier. First, it will go up. And in the second portion, it will come down. And again, bring this up. Now try to adjust the graph according to your video, give it some time and play with it. And you'll understand how it works. For the second keyframe, you don't have to make the same graph over and over again, You cab just copy this curve.

So select the keyframe and press shift + C to copy it, then select the keyframe where you want to apply the graph then press shift + V to paste it, and make sure you have the AE Juice plugin. Otherwise this feature will not work and this is a absolutely free feature. So, all of you can get it, all the links will be in the description, so make sure you check it out. So this is how the final graph will look, in each keyframe the video will get faster and between the keyframes, the video will be slow. Now, let me show you how the video looks. By following the same steps you can add time remapping to all your clips so I'll fast forward, this part of the video.

Now, let's add some cropping and transitions in our video. But before that add motion tile in the effects library search for motion tile, and add it to your video. And here turn on "mirror edges" and increase the output value to around 250, this will help us to mirror the edges in the transitions. Actually, let me show you how it works. Press "S" on your keyboard to bring the scale value of any layer. Now if I decrease the scale, you can see that the edges have this mirror effect. Now, let me change the scale to 100, to its original size. Now, add a keyframe in this position. When it starts to fire, You can click on this timer to add the first keyframe.

Now here I'll add another keyframe and in the second keyframe, you have to increase the size, but we actually want the zoom in effect in the first keyframe, we'll get that by using curves. For Alight Motion Let's increase the size here in the second Keyframe, let me just move this to the centre and I'll add one more keyframe here and change the size to its original size, which is 100%. Now, we want the zoom effect near the first keyframe and zoom out effect will be at the last keyframe, so select all the keyframes and press f9 and go to the graph editor. Here make sure you have selected speed graph, select the centre keyframe and you have to make a curve similar to mine, where the curve is going up at the beginning, with the help of this graph we will get the zoom in effect at the beginning near this keyframe.

Now, let's make the second graph. We want the zoom out effect at the end near the last keyframe, so I'll make a graph like this where it is going down at the end. So it will look something like this. Now let's add a transition here, you can select "P" to bring up the position keyframes. And by the way, you can also get these kind of transitions in the AE Juice Plug-in. There are so many transitions which you can add in the seamless transition pack and they look much better than this Also they will save a lot of time because you just have to drag and drop this into the timeline and you will get the transition. Anyways, Alight Motion let's make the transition using the position keyframes.

So add a keyframe here. Now move a little forward and add one more keyframe. In the second keyframe, I'm going to move the layer to the left side. Now select both the keyframes and press F9 and go to the graph editor here, you have to make a similar graph like mine. Also don't forget to add motion blur in all the layers. Next select, the second layer and select "P" to bring up the position keyframes. Now, add a keyframe here at the right side first then add a keyframe at the left side. In this keyframe move the layer to the right side and make sure both the layers are moving in the same direction.
ALIGHT MOTION TEXT PRESET
Next, select both of the keyframes and press F9 and go to the graph editor. Here, you have to make a similar graph like mine. This is actually the opposite graph from the previous layer. So this is what happens when you don't apply motion tile. Now, let me just copy the motion tile effect from the previous layer by pressing ctrl + C after selecting the effect. then select the layer where you want to apply it and press control + V. By the way, one more thing try to make the transition in the same direction, where your character is moving next lets add a simple zoom effect when it shoots the enemy. So press "S" to bring the scale value.

CONCLUSION
Now, we only have to add the sound effects. Like, you can add guns sounds. And you can also add Whooosh sound effect from AE Juice Plugin. You can add this Whoosh sound effects in a transitions and it is provided in the free starter back, so you can get it for free. And that is all for this video.
